Book Description Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Broom-Lynne, James (illustrator). Reprint. Given as the eighth impression of a book first published in 1951. Boards have light corner rubbing and bumping to the top corners but are otherwise clean and unmarked with bright lettering to the spine. Page edges slightly browned with some scattered light spotting. Previous owner's book plate to the front free endpaper which also has a little surface marking. Some browning to the reverse of the front free endpaper but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has browning to the rear panel which also has some small brown stains to the top right corner. The spine is a little darkened with some browning to the flaps and the corners are a little rubbed. Jacket design by James Broom-Lynne. Seller Inventory # 016195

Boards have some rubbing and discolouration to the edges and corners and the front panel has a light dent and a few tiny spots near the top edge. The boards are otherwise clean and unmarked with bright lettering to the spine. Page edges a little browned. Light trace of a price in pencil to the front free endpaper. a few light spots to the rear free endpaper but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has browning to the rear panel which also has staining around the top corners. The spine is a little darkened with some staining at the top where there is light chipping.
