Jakess novel is Christian fiction, it never sounds preachy. There are no sermons or long prayers or Bible passages. Tracey Leighs well-modulated voice is a good fit as she skillfully moves between the narrative and dialogue. Her pleasant delivery brings the listener into the hearts and minds of the characters.
