The Quotable Tycoon is a collection of instructive and often outrageous perspectives on business by the world's most powerful corporate leaders and entrepreneurs, past and present.

Richard Branson, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Jack Welch, Warren Buffett, John D. Rockefeller and Henry Ford are among the scores of tycoons from North America, Europe and Asia whose hundreds of witty and provocative comments are augmented with reflections on business by such varied observers as Winston Churchill, Peter Drucker, Mark Twain and Mae West.

The quotes, arranged alphabetically by subject, describe every aspect of business life, from egomania, bureaucratic infighting and mangled mergers, to the urgent issues of global competition, employee empowerment, customer satisfaction and corporate social responsibility. Each quote is accompanied by a short commentary that puts it in context and provides historical perspective.

The Quotable Tycoon is an indispensable handbook for anyone who seeks a deeper insight into the inner workings of the business mind.
