The foreword hits home the importance of mathematics in the veterinary world.

The 18 chapters are easily readable, with step-by-step instructions, and well-illustrated with relevant photographs and diagrams... Each chapter starts with an introduction, learning objectives and a calcualtion example. Once the reader has grasped the theory, he or she can then practise the calculations.
