Tyler G. Hicks is president of International Wealth Success, Inc., as well as a consultant to real estate wealth builders throughout the world. He has written dozens of books on real estate investing, including How to Make One Million Dollars in Real Estate in Three Years Starting with No Cash (Prentice Hall Press). He lives in Rockville Centre, New York.

Hicks has been churning out advice on "wealth building" for nearly 40 years. He has covered mail order, grants and "government" money, franchising, home-based businesses, and "borrowing" your way to wealth; but one of his favorite roads to riches is by real estate. His first version of this book was written more than 20 years ago. It is difficult to compare changes in the various revisions, because Hicks' books have a tendency to disappear from libraries. One obvious difference is the title. When he first started providing real estate tips, his goal was to help readers "make one million dollars." Apparently, $1 million is no longer "big money," and Hicks has us aim higher. He considers real estate investing in good times and bad. The "original 'no-money-down' guru" explains his "zero-cash" approach, "mortgaging out," how to buy foreclosures, different types of real estate properties, and alternative financing options.
