From AudioFile:
One glimpse of this whimsical jacket illustration suggests that nothing ordinary happens within. In fact, the complete impossibility of every story element is its greatest charm. When Morgan, Mother, Dad, Grandma, Tailcat and the Baby sail off for the sea in their London row house, they encounter cannibals, confront a band of pirates led by the bloodthirsty One-Eyed Jake, and recover the missing Crown Jewels. Actress Brigit Forsyth handles the unlikely cast of characters with verve. A delightful Yorkshire accent brings Grandma and her friends to life. Forsyth executes a variety of captivating accents and voicings for the secondary characters, as well, particularly One-Eyed Jake, who goes head-to-head with the high-spirited Grandma. T.B.
