The full-color photos are clear and informative. Extensive lists for further information include Internet sites, current books, pamphlets, and periodicals. Margaret G. Clark's The Endangered Florida Panther (Cobblehill, 1993) has more photographs than this newer title. Dorothy Hinshaw Patent's Where the Wild Horses Roam (Clarion, 1993) provides a more visually exciting look at the mustang.
