From School Library Journal:
PreSchool-Grade 1–Two mischievous kittens cavort around their yard and create hilarious havoc in this bouncy tribute to feline exuberance. Taking advantage of an open door and preoccupied owners, the cats jump from garden to tree to pool to doghouse, always getting into enough trouble to necessitate an expeditious escape to the refrain of "CAT SKIDOO!" A final leap from a pursuing dog to the safety of the house brings the now-exhausted pair to pleasant dreams of their rascally behavior. Roberts's rollicking verses are echoed in Alley's colorful ink, pen, and watercolor cartoons. Featuring plenty of white space and lending a sense of nonstop motion, the art is filled with details of the felines' antics. Perfect for group sharing and participation or one-on-one reading, this amusing adventure will be welcome in most collections.–Marge Loch-Wouters, Menasha's Public Library, WI
