About the Author:
Foreword author Kathryn Cullen-DuPont is the award-winning author of several books on women's history, including, Facts On File's The Encyclopedia of Women's History in America. She has also served as a consultant on Women's Issues to Grolier's New Book of Knowledge Encyclopedia and American Journey: Women in America. She is currently an associated adjunct professor in the Department of English and the Humanities at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn.
