Grade 2-4-These introductions to careers are acceptable additions, especially the one on recreation directors, which are not often represented in other series. The voice of each worker is pleasant and informative. The format of presenting one day or one project for each individual gives a good flow to the narratives and is not overwhelming. By including related and supporting fields, each book gives a picture of how people work together. The layout of text and pictures contributes to the readability. Men and women of different ethnic backgrounds are represented. Useful for libraries that may need to update their career sections.
