Between 1946 and 1992, Bill Hosokawa worked as a respected and widely read journalist and columnist, first with the Denver Post then the Rocky Mountain News. He wrote several books about the Niesi in Colorado. During World War II, Bill and his young family were sent to Heart Mountain Internment Camp. A bonsai garden in Denver’s Botanical Gardens is dedicated to him.
