About the Author:

Martina Esser has taught German at IB level for many years. She is currently Manager for Quality, Standards and Development at Exeter College. She is also a Principal Examiner for Cambridge International Examinations and has worked for other major exam boards in the past. She is an experienced writer of German and French textbooks and has many years experience of teaching both A level and Language B for the International Baccalaureate. She has also been involved in teacher education for many years. Ian Maun is a Lecturer and Research Fellow at the School of Education and Lifelong Learning at Exeter University. He is an experienced writer of Modern Language textbooks. Annette Duensing is a Lecturer in German at the Department of Languages, Faculty of Education and Language Studies at the Open University, UK. She has extensive experience in writing German teaching and assessment materials.
