About the Author:

Surrounded by a host of cherished wild critters, Sherry Carnahan lives in Northeast Ohio with her husband, two dogs, five cats, a canary and a goldfish named, Cleveland. She is an Entrepreneur and writer. Her earliest memories of writing came at the age of five, sitting at a kid-sized table in her playroom alongside her "imaginary friend." She would write about her own animals, including stories of her first rescue of a mother cat with newborn kittens that she found on her way to school in first grade. In her first children's picture book, she harkens back to her roots in a heartwarming story about one of her own animals, a disabled dog name Molly. When she is not writing, you can find her running one of her three companies, rescuing animals or spending time with her family - both animal and human kind! Award-winning author and illustrator, Tammie Lyon, lives in Ohio with her husband, Lee, and her dogs, Amos, Dudley, and Artie. As an only child, drawing became a favorite form of self-entertainment. Beginning at a very young age, while drawing at the kitchen table with her dad, she would sit for hours drawing things around the house, later presenting them as gifts to her mother. Today, she shares her gift with the world by illustrating books (well over 100!), posters, magazines, CDs, games, clothing-and just about anything else you can think of. She's even authored her first children's book, Olive and Snowflake (Marshall Cavendish). She is represented by MB Artists. Tammie is currently working on two very popular book series for children: The Katie Woo series (Capstone Publishing) and a spin-off series called Pedro, First Grade Hero. Artist and Illustrator, Laura Merer, lives in California with her husband Adam and three teenage children, Aidan, Kyra, and Olivia. (She is also the loving owner of one dog and a growing number of cats!)
