About the Author:

Jack Friedland received his bachelor of Business Administration from the City University of New York. He taught psychology at Brooklyn College where he conducted experiments in memory and cognition. He did research in neurophysiological psychology at the former New Jersey Neuropsychiatric Institute and lectured at Princeton University on thesubject of social persuasion. Friedland has given talks and seminars for the public, students and professionals on such topics as personal and social power, behavior modification and the creative process. In addition to counseling couples and individuals, Friedland is currently working on his next book, “A Deeper Intelligence: The Evolution of Internal Dialogue and Human Culture.”
