About the Author:

Deborah Gilboa, MD, aka Doctor G is a Pittsburgh-based parenting expert, Family Physician, international speaker, author, media expert and mom of four boys. She developed the 3 R s of Parenting to empower parents to raise respectful, responsible and resilient kids, and in response to the years of character building questions she s received from her patients. Chosen for Pittsburgh Magazine's "40 Under 40", she has also received numerous awards including the Bristol Meyers Squibb award for Clinical Excellence and The Excellence in Teaching Award. Doctor G is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine and a frequent speaker at her alma mater, Carnegie Mellon University. She is a regular guest on CBS' Pittsburgh Today Live, ABC's Windy City Live, Band host/parenting expert of WQED s iQ SmartParent.
