About the Author

PAT SHANNON holds a masters degree in elementary education, was a grade school teacher, and was headmistress of the highly regarded Filey's Nursery School for twenty-five years. She is a mother of two and grandmother of six who lives in Central PA with her husband and many Shelties.

PATTY BEAR is a professional life coach, airline pilot, and parent of two young adults. She was so intrigued by Pat Shannon's Pied Piper-like ability to bring out the best in children that she set out on a journey to discover her secret--and became her co-author in the process.
