While living in the United States for 31 years, YASIN T. AL-JIBOURI was dismayed to notice the absence of spirituality in a mostly materialistic society where statistics about suicides, homelessness, abortions, drug-related and other crimes as well as many social ills are truly alarming. He thought that he could provide what he calls "a dose of spirituality" for those who seek it and appreciate it. This is why he has written this book which will make you forget about the world of the matter and take you to soar in the world of the soul, the spirit, the high intellect, in the company of the Almighty, of peace and tranquility. In it, when Moses is discussed, you will read a new version of the "Sermon on the Mount" the beauty of which can be appreciated even by any ordinary individual who has had a modest share of "education" Biographies of a number of prophets and messengers of the Almighty will inspire many readers and hopefully brighten their outlook about this life and prepare them to look forward with anticipation to the afterlife. The author is an Iraqi-American writer, editor and translator with 52 book and publication titles to his credit. The Preface to this book details them while pages 43 - 89 provide more information about and front covers of some of them. He is described by some critics as having a prolific pen. He earned his graduate degree in English from an American university and taught English in his country of birth, Iraq, as well as in Saudi Arabia and the United States. Presently, he is preparing Volume Two of this book for publication while also working on Volume One of his other major work titled Dictionary of Islamic Terms.
