About the Author:

Marty Gitlin is a freelance writer based in Cleveland, Ohio. He has written many educational books and has won nearly 50 awards during his 25 years as a writer, including first place for general excellence from the Associated Press. He and his wife have three children.

Allison Lassieur has written more than 100 books on many topics, including history, biography, science, and current events. She has also written fiction novels and short stories, puzzles, and activities. When she isn't busy writing, Allison enjoys knitting, spinning, and reading good novels.
