Baseball Is Life: A 9-Step Blueprint For Success In Baseball and Life, offers a fresh, new perspective on the meaning and purpose of baseball in the context of a baseball player's whole life. Written specifically for elite, amateur baseball players, ages 12 to 22, the premise of this book is that baseball excellence translates into life excellence. It is about How Mastering Baseball Prepares You To Master Life. Many books have been written about the game of baseball, about hitting, pitching, techniques, strategies, statistics, the mental side of the game. This is not another baseball book about technique, strategy, or statistics. This is a book about how baseball is life, and how baseball and life are about the process and the journey. At some point, baseball playing comes to an end. For most, it ends at 12. For some, it ends at 18. And for a few, it ends at 22 or 26. Only a handful last past 35. "The hardest thing an athlete will ever endure is the day that they are no longer able to play the game that they love."* That’s why it is important to use baseball to prepare for life after baseball. This book provides baseball players with a clear, easy-to-understand, blueprint for both their baseball success and their life success. “I am living proof that the Steps laid out in this book will help lead to success on and off of the baseball field.” – Jim Bullard, MLB 2001-2006.* “This book has provided me with the blueprint to teach my players what it takes to become a champion in life and on the baseball field.” – Trevor Woods, Coach. “This book is not just for baseball players striving for excellence in baseball. This book is for baseball players striving for excellence in life. I wish this book had been available when I was growing up, but I am reassured that it is available now.” Steve Fuller, West Point Graduate. “Life wlll always have setbacks, it's how you deal with them that will determine your fate.” – Mike Lamb, MLB 2000-2010.
