I am so lucky.  My mom is incredible.  Growing up we had to work hard but were encouraged to do our best and loved regardless.  Mom instilled in us a sense of love for ourselves and others. I thought everyone grew up that way, but when I started teaching I learned that just wasn't so.  It was heartbreaking to me to see how many kids were called names and made to feel like less than the amazing miracles that they are.    I made it my mission in life to make all the kids I came in contact with aware that there was at least one adult in their life who cared about them.  This book is the result of that, and a deep desire to pass on the lessons about life that my mom taught me.   When I wrote it, I hadn't really thought about the selling of it.  I simply wanted to pass along the love and was obsessed with getting it done.  I have been amazed and pleased by the number of people who have told me that it made a difference in their life.  I've been surprised by the people who buy one copy, then come back and buy more copies to give others.  It is a humbling and very rewarding experience.    I hope you will enjoy the book and find something in it that touches you in a positive way.  Since publishing "The Wisdom of Mom: Words of Love and Encouragement" in March of 2016, I went on to publish an adult coloring book called "The Wisdom of Mom Celtic Coloring Book."  The pictures are larger and different, and the text is like the Reader's Digest condensed version of the original book.  If you love them, please leave feedback on Amazon.com so other people will read it and pass on the love.  Best Wishes to you.  :)  Be Happy.  Audrey

About the Author:

Audrey O'Shea has been an accountant and an  entrepreneur, teacher, computer guru, and cliff jumper (i.e. known to habitually take leaps of faith), to name a few.  Currently she teaches courses on electricity, electronics and computer technology.  She loves hiking the high peaks of the Adirondack Mountains and taking things apart to see how they work.
