Synopsis

Throughout our lives, death is what we fear the most. It comes in many different shapes and sizes, hitting us when we least expect it. I wanted death to take me in open arms but when it came for me...it didn’t. The bullet that went through my skull was supposed to kill me but through some miraculous miracle, I survived. It wasn’t until three years later that I had awoken up from a coma. That’s when I met the Devil himself, Lucifer. He was surprised to see me alive and well but couldn’t understand as to how. That’s when he told me who I was, Death, one of the Four Horsemen of his Apocalypse. I was the last one he needed but because of my survival it was put on hold. Though he was angry at what happened, he decided to give me an ultimatum. He had decided to give me two weeks to find the man responsible for killing my wife and daughter but in return I must end my own life so I may join him in Hell. If I did not abide by this, he would end the lives of the last remaining people I held dear...and I can’t let that happen.

Born and raised in the small town of Bradenton, Fl. Michael A. Rockwell didn’t begin to show an interest in writing until he reached High School. It was a rocky start however as he didn’t know if that’s what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Eventually he grew a love for it and chose it over his other talents such as drawling and film making. As a writer, Michael hopes to create stories people don’t expect. We live in a world where we copy off one another and sooner or later it becomes cliche. He wants to change that and pull twists that not a lot of people would expect. He’s passionate in his writing and doesn’t plan on stopping for a long time.
