About the Author:

Ronald G. Burns is an Associate Professor and Director of the Criminal Justice Program at Texas Christian University. He is the author of four books and over 30 journal articles and book chapters. His research interests include corporate deviance, environmental crimes, and policing issues. Recent publications include articles in the Journal of Criminal Justice Education, the Journal of Criminal Justice, and Crime and Delinquency. Michael J. Lynch is an Associate Professor in the Criminology Department at the University of South Florida. His research interests include corporate crime, environmental justice, racial bias in the criminal justice system, and radical criminology. Paul Stretesky is an associate professor of sociology at Colorado State University - Fort Collins. His research interests include environmental crime, environmental justice and corporate crime. His most recent work assess the predictors and impact of environmental self-policing.
