Walks vary from strolls of a few miles to 3 or 4 day outings with Alpine hut stopovers and many are circular. They can be confidently undertaken by anyone who is reasonably fit. The delights of the Bavarian scenery added to a temperate climate, a good choice of accommodation and eating places, and good transport access make for an excellent holiday destination.
