This anthology represents the work of more than fifty writers who live on, write about, or are closely connected to Cape Cod. These writings were submissions to the Cape Cod Literary Press Poetry and Fiction contest, held in 2005; this contest attracted work from writers all over the country as well as here on Cape Cod, from professional writers and university professors to those who have never before been published. Some writers are Cape Cod natives, others have recently moved or retired to the Cape, and a large number vacationed here with their families when they were young, invoking lasting memories of this magical place, this world of water and of sand, Cape Cod.
