Each meditation is accompanied by black and white line drawings of images from nature, drawn by a nun at the Community of the Ascension.

About the Author:
Sister Mary Winifred was for many years a member of the Community of the Holy Spirit. She is the founding sister of the Community of the Ascension. She works in the Episcopal Diocese of Easton in Maryland.
