Celebrity Bake Book - Hardcover
Celebrities, chefs and politicians are contributing their favourite baking recipes for the Celebrity Bake Book which supports of The Ben Kinsella Trust.
Foreword by respected British cookery writer Mary Berry. Celebrity contributors include Glynis Barber, Nigella Lawson, Arlene Philips, Calum Best and Pearl Lowe.
The book is the idea of Linda Morris and is being published by Accent Press who previously produced Food For Heroes (The Official Help for Heroes Cook Book) and East Meets West which raised money for the Tsunami relief.
Ben Kinsella was knifed to death in June 2008 in Islington. He was just 16 years old. His sister, Brooke Kinsella (who is an actress and was in Eastenders) and her family created The Ben Kinsella Trust to promote the growing problem that is knife crime. The trust aims to educate children as young as primary school age in the difference between right and wrong and against ever picking up a weapon, be it through peer pressure, fear or simply believing it is cool.
The Trust also hopes, one day, to build a youth centre in Ben's name in Islington to help protect, support and nurture the kids on our streets.

About the Author:
The book is the idea of Linda Morris and her committee, "The Baking Belles” Linda, enjoys baking and is mother to a professional chef, Ed Shaerf (Chef Patron at One Blenheim Terrace). Linda has been involved with charity work in Islington for the past eight years and knew of The Ben Kinsella Trust and how it important it was for it to take an anti-knife crime exhibition to schools around the country to educate children of all ages and achieve its aims. The committee all agreed that this was such a worthwhile cause and set out to compile this book and raise the much needed funds for the Trus
