Mouse and Mongoose is about an odd-couple friendship and their adventures in Hawaii. Mouse and Mongoose are best friends. One day, Mongoose visits Mous and tells him he has never seen a rainbow.l Ready for a day of fun, Mouse agrees to help him find one. They look under rocks. At the tops of trees. On a mountain. Down at the each. But they cannot find a rainbow. Mouse enjoys everything they see and do. Mongoose, however, gets grumpier and grumpier. In the end, Mouse tries to show Mongoose a different way of thinking. Although Mongoose will never change, he realizes the importance of sharing a beautiful Hawaiian day--even a grumpy one--with a friend.

About the Author:

Elizabeth Oh studied fine art at the Swain School of Design in Massachusetts, and graduated with a BFA in Art Education from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She has produced scrimshaw, murals, window paintings, and illustrations for various publications. Elizabeth lives in Honolulu with her large cat, Mr. Cuddles, her lovely parrot, Juan, and her husband and muse, Chuck.
