About the Author:

John Austin is a former toy designer for Hasbro in their Boys Research and Development Department. He spent his college years at the University of Wisconsin, Stout, terrorizing his friends with one hysterical prank after another. The author of Prank University, he lives in Wisconsin with his unsuspecting wife.

Ronald Dworkin was Frank Henry Sommer Professor of Law and Philosophy at New York University.

Hans Kelsen had a distinguished career at a variety of European universities, and in government services, at Vienna, Cologne, the Institut Universitaire des Hautes Etudes in Paris, and then in Prague. He served as legal adviser to the United Nations War Crimes Commission in Washington, D.C.

Richard A. Posner is Circuit Judge, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and a senior lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School.

Joseph Raz is Professor of Philosophy of Law at the University of Oxford and Fellow of Balliol Colelge, Oxford.
