During his apprenticeship in Germany, he met the artist Gabriele Münter, who took him around the world. For a long time, the Russian was an amateur. It was not until 1908 that he began his real career: his paintings became more abstract and he developed the principle of increasing autonomy of colors. A few years later, his artistic ideas were collected in the book Point and Line on a Plan. A reference author, 200 images and a dynamic layout give this monograph an excellent position. It presents almost 200 of the painter's works on 288 pages in 18 x 18 cm format. The author, Hajo Düchting, is a specialist of the period.
