Wrappers. One of 220 copies printed by the Curwen Press. In this 1912 letter to Joseph Conrad, Arnold Bennett states he has often had the impulse to write to Conrad but refrained because of ".some silly notion about conceivable impertinence". He did use this opportunity, however, to praise Conrad's writings, especially "Under Western Eyes", which he called "superb". Bookseller Inventory # 2068
