Vintage original 11 x 14" (28 x 35 cm.) lobby card, USA. Ann Sheridan, Jeffrey Lynn, Humphrey Bogart, Zasu Pitts, Una O'Connor, dir: Lewis Seiler; Warner Brothers. Story of nightclub singer Sarah Ryan and songwriter Tommy Taylor (Sheridan and Lynn) who live in their mother's jointly-run boarding house. Tommy brings home a friend (Bogart) who turns out to be a gangster killer who turns the boarding house into a nightclub. Based on a Louis Bromfield story, the film was produced by a theatre critic/Broadway columnist who, for a few years during the 1940s, came to Hollywood to produce films (including several of Bogart's films for Warner Brothers). Ann Sheridan and Jeffrey Lynn had been promoted to lead status by 1940, but Bogart was still in the supporting category of actors. In this card are Lynn and Bogart. There are various pinholes, VERY GOOD-FINE. Bookseller Inventory #
