Real photo postcard showing the street-rasing project in Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington. In 1914, in response to regular flooding, the town raised the street level 14 feet. This view show the new street level, with businesses below. Clearly visible are the Angeles Pool Hall, a billiards room, a cafe, and a real estate office. AZO back, with four up-arrows. A very nice image, with great contrast. Postally unused, with note on back referring to the street-raising project underway. Bookseller Inventory # 103050
