Part of the "States Beautiful" series.Light brown cloth boards have darker brown double-ruled borders and scenic decoration on the front cover, brown labels w/ gilt lettering and decorations on the spine. Covers are clean, extremities are slighty dust soiled and rubbed, corners moreso. Spine is a trifle sunned, bumped and rubbed at head and foot. Endpp. are slightly foxed/darkened. Text is clean, embellished with b/w photographs and drawings by the author. Binding is sound and tight. D.j. is complete and intact. Panels are dust soiled and rubbed. Extremities are a bit worn, including small closed tears, creasing, chipping, and rubbing. Mended w/ acid-free tape from behind where possible. Nice copy, digital image available.
