About This Ain't the Rosedale Library
This Ain't the Rosedale Library is an independent bookstore in Toronto, Ontario.
It is a general interest bookstore, promoting local writers, small press publications, zines, chapbooks, nontraditional fiction and poetry, modern classic, graphic novels, biographies, and countercultural nonfiction. This Ain't the Rosedale Library was opened in 1979 by Charles Huisken, and Daniel Bazuin became co-owner in 1981. Formerly located in the heart of the LGBT village, it is now in diverse Kensington Market, south of College St. and west of Spadina Ave.
In 2005, This Ain't was dubbed the best independent bookstore in Canada and #8 in the world by the Guardian.

Terms - Payment in advance by Visa, Mastercard, certified cheque or money order. All prices are in US dollars. To see a listed title in our store please call in advance (416-929-9912) as out of print and rare books are kept off-site.
