About the Author:
The Editors: David P. Barrett is Associate Professor of History, McMaster University, Ontario, Canada. He is the author of articles on Hu Hanmin and on the Wang Jingwei collaborationist regime. He has completed a translation of the memoirs of General Vasilii Chuikov, advisor to Chiang Kai-shek.
Larry N. Shyu is Professor Emeritus of History, University of New Brunswick, Canada. He is co-editor of three volumes of proceedings on East Asian studies of the Canadian Asian Studies Association and the author of nine scholarly articles published in the United States, Canada, Taiwan, and China on the history of modern China during the Republican period and on the Overseas Chinese.
