About the book >.>.> It is now over twenty years since Scottish Civic Heraldry was published and during that time an abundance of interesting and important developments have occurred in this aspect of Scottish armory. These two decades have seen the demise of the Regional and District Councils set up in 1975, but not before all but one had recorded arms; they have seen the arrival in 1996 of the new Area Councils, all but two of whom have so far sought and been granted armorial bearings; they have seen a healthy and commendable growth in petitions for arms from the Community Councils. There is therefore much to put on record in Scottish Civic Heraldry 2. It has been found convenient to divide the book into three Parts. Part I-The Arms of the Regional and District Councils (Additions and Changes since 1979) Part II - The Arms of the Area Councils. Part III - The Arms of the Community Councils. Part I is short and needs only two chapters. Part II has three introductory chapters and then the articles on the individual Counci. Seller Inventory # Batch-FM398-VG-9303
