This study also highlights Rickwood Field, the home-field of the Black Barons, as well as examining team-life on the road. About the Author:
This study is based on Masters Thesis work conducted by Christopher D. Fullerton. Chris' plans to revise his Thesis for publication were cut short by his death at age twent-nine in an automobile accident in 1997. At the time of his death, Chris worked as the Executive Director of the Friends of Rickwood Field, a non-profit organization charged with preserving, managing, and marketing Rickwood Field, America's oldest baseball park.
