The Author: Michaela Krützen was born in Aachen, West Germany, in 1964. She studied Communications, German Language and Literature, as well as Library Sciences. Since 1989 she has worked as a lecturer at the Institute of Theatre, Film and Television Studies at the University of Cologne.
