About the Author:
Daniel Fischer is editor of the German astronomy journal STERNE UND WELTRAUM and publisher of the news service SKYWEEK. His previous books include HUBBLE: A NEW WINDOW TO THE UNIVERSE (1996) and HUBBLE REVISITED: NEW IMAGES FROM THE DISCOVERY MACHINE (1998), both published by Copernicus Books. Daniel Fischer is the 1997 winner of the Bruno H. Buergel Award of the German Astronomische Gesellschaft (Astronomical Society).
