this work contains logarithms and squares of feet inches and fractions thereof, expressed in decimals of a foot and varying by 1/32 of an inch from zero to fifty feet. The logarithms were calculated by an interpolation which was precise to within one in the eighth decimal. The results were then rounded to five decimals. In all cases where the proper rounding was questionable Vega 10-place logarithms were consulted.
