Review:
Tales of an Ancient Modeler is not only the title of an interesting book. It is also a historical account of half a century of aeromodeling as we knew it in the New york area. That means it encompasses a special slice of life involving many famous modelers, including some colorful characters. The book chronicles the good times we can laugh about now, though they may have involved some sad and frustrating experiences as they occured.......... We had lots of fun over the years and the original happenings that Norm describes are remembered with humour because that was the view point that prevailed, then and now.
