About the Author:
Diana F. Johnson from age six on has made writing of plays and stories her first career love. Diana wrote "THE BLUE RIBBON" in first grade. She directed, cast, and lit the show on a small stage she found in her school's basement. From then on, Johnson delighted in writing. Children's books, screenplays, stageplays, poetry, and freelance non-fiction interviews for newspapers and magazines have occupied her spare time throughout her career.
As an English and Theatre major at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, Diana received her BA degree in 1985. Later, she studied graduate level feature film writing at Northwestern.
William Kerwin Agency represents Diana's four spec screenplays and children's book packages. Princesa's package includes the children's book, prototype Princesa puppet doll, an original title song, "Mano a Mano" written by her son, Jeff Johnson, and the spec screenplay, "PRINCESA AND THE MYSTERY AT LAMIRADA."
Ms. Johnson is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She is also a regular member of the Society of Midland Authors.
