During his long tenure, he brought 92 of the most prominent American and International political leaders and journalists to Kansas State University. His book explains how K-State was able to attract these public figures to the Landon podium, gives anecdotes about each one from his experience with them behind the scenes, and provides a summary of each speech. Nancy Kassebaum Baker has written a forward, and the book ends with the reminiscences of his four predecessors as Landon chairmen.
