The previous articles have been concerned with the effect of different diuretics in acute uranium nephritis and with the part played by the anesthetic employed in the experiments in determining the efficiency of the nephritic kidney. In the experiments which have been referred to, there was constantly associated with the development of an anuria, or with a condition approaching anuria, histological evidence of severe tubular injury.
