About the Author:
David Boersma was born in 1936. He grew up in a Dutch-descent, Presbyterian family of seven in Longmont, Colorado. He received degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business Management from the University of Colorado. He worked for 32 years in nuclear-materials process research and development at the Savannah River Laboratory near Aiken, South Carolina, and Augusta, Georgia. In 1965 David married Wyolene Hall. They lived in Augusta, where both their family and their Christian faith grew. They have four children and three grandchildren. They now make their home near McCormick, South Carolina, where David enjoys gardening, singing, and Bible study.
