About the Author:

CHARLES RINGMA has spent most of his life working with youth and college students. After he earned a degree in theology at the Reformed Theological College in Geelong, Australia, he and his wife launched their career as missionaries. They started Teen Challenge of Australia, other urban missions organizations, and a national youthworkers training institute. After Charles completed his doctorate at the University of Queensland, he and his family moved to the Philippines where he taught at the Asian Theological Seminary in Manila. He is now professor of missions and evangelism at Regent College. Charles has written extensively on spirituality, and his book on the church, Catch the Wind, was the joint winner of the 1995 Australian Christian Book of the Year award presented by the Australian Christian Literature Society. He lives with his wife in Vancouver, British Columbia.
