About the Author:

Jim Dolbow is a veteran congressional defense staffer and Coast Guard Reserve officer. A 2002 graduate of the U.S. Naval War College, Dolbow served on the Editorial Board of the U.S. Naval Institute from 2005-2010. He lives in Arlington, VA and is a native of Penns Grove, NJ.
