About the Author:
Gerald D. Bailey is a professor of education in the Department of Educational Administration and a technology consultant for Kansas State University. Dr. Bailey is a former classroom teacher, supervising demonstration teacher, and university supervisor. He is author of several technology leadership articles and co-author of "Planning for Technology," "Staff Development in Technology," "101 Tips, Traps and To-Dos for Creating Teams," and "Technology-Based Learning Methods." He has served as a national and international consultant on the topic of technology leadership. Currently, he teaches classes on technology leadership, technology planning, and technology staff development.

Dan Lumley, Assistant Superintendent and Technology Coordinator at Spring Hill School District, Spring Hill, Kansas, is a former classroom teacher and principal. He is the author of several technolgy leadership articles and the co-author of "Planning for Technology," and "Staff Development in Technology." He has served as a national and international consultant on the topic of technology leadership. Drs. Bailey and Lumley have forged a dynamic partnernship, combining research and practitioner perspectives in their publications and in journals like Educational Leadership, Educational Technology, and NASSP Journal.
