The dust jacket is worn on the edges, and there is a 1.5" portion torn away from the bottom of the spine. The hardcover shows no indication of edge wear, and the front cover is very clean. The spine has yellowed, but the lettering and silhouetted figure are in very good shape. There is a dimple halfway down on the spine. There is a stain on the front end page, and the front hinge is loose but Well-connected to the binding. The next page has a bordered statement, "The illustration shown in this edition are reproductions of scenes from the photo-play of "The Garden of Allah" produced and copyrighted by The Selig Polyscope Company, Inc., to whom the publisher's desire to express their thanks and appreciation for permission to use the pictures. The owners stamp is on the next page. The frontispiece is one of the photos, "Boris and Domini in a tent in the desert the night of their marriage.". Bookseller Inventory # 000104
