Vintage19th century albumen photograph. 7.5" by 9.5" Mounted on thick paper. Very good condition. No writing or other marks on photograph. On the mount an inscription in an antique hand in ink reads, "Corso Vittorio Emanuele" and another hand in pencil reads "Milan." Lovely and intensely detailed view of a deserted street containing only an old man, seated, and a horse and buggy. At the end of the street a gothic cathedral rises above the city in an ethereal atmospheric fade. Seller Inventory # 14114
